Application Process

MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT ACADEMIC YEAR FOR WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING.

Admissions Process

Our online application makes applying for school as simple as possible.  This process allows you to apply for more than one student at a time.  Please note, however, that supplemental forms must be submitted for each child as appropriate for their grade level.

 

Step 1 – Complete the Online Application and Pay Application Fee

To Complete the Online Application:

  • --Choose “Create An Account”on the left menu.
  • --Log in, and begin the Online Application.  Choose the application for the appropriate year.  Feedback on your progress is provided on the left menu as you continue.  A yellow caution sign appears if you have not entered required information.  A green check mark appears if you have completed a section.

To Reopen an Online Application You Already Started but Did Not Complete:

  • --Choose “Online Application/Log In” on the left menu.
  • --Choose the application you wish to complete.

Submit your $245 non-refundable Application Fee online by credit or debit card.  (If you wish to pay by check or cash at the school office, you must contact the Admissions Office before completing the online application process.) 

International Students Only:  All students who desire to attend Prince Avenue Christian School on an I-20 must pay an additional I-20 fee of $250 directly to the Admissions Office.  This fee cannot be paid online.

 

Step 2 – Forms Required by the Admissions Office

The recommendation forms are all available to complete on our website. Additionally, while completing the application you will have the opportunity to input who you would like to complete each recommendation. We will then email them the link to complete the form. 

PreK-3 (Must be 3 years old on or before September 1)

  • --Birth Certificate  (photocopy accepted)
  • --Certificate of Immunization (photocopy accepted)
  • --Church Recommendation Form
  • --Court documentation  (if applicable)


PreK-4 (Must be 4 years old on or before September 1)

  • --Birth Certificate  (photocopy accepted)
  • --Certificate of Immunization (photocopy accepted)
  • --Church Recommendation Form
  • --Court documentation  (if applicable)

Kindergarten (Must be 5 years old on or before September 1)

  • --Birth Certificate  (photocopy accepted)
  • --Certificate of Immunization (photocopy accepted)
  • --Church Recommendation Form
  • --Court documentation (if applicable)

1st – 5th grade 

  • --Records Request Form (which includes request for birth certificate, immunization, report cards, testing reports,  etc.)
  • --Church Recommendation Form
  • --Principal/Guidance Counselor/Preschool Director Recommendation Form
  • --Elementary Teacher Recommendation
  • --Court documentation (if applicable)

6th – 12th grades

  • --Records Request Form (which includes request for birth certificate, immunization report cards, testing reports,  etc.)
  • --Church Recommendation Form
  • --Principal/Guidance Counselor/Preschool Director Recommendation Form
  • --Math Teacher Recommendation (only if last report card or current progress report has below an 85 average in that subject area)
  • --English Teacher Recommendation (only if last report card or current progress report has below an 85 average in that subject area)
  • --Court documentation  (if applicable)

 

Step 3 – Testing

The Admissions Office will call or email you to set up testing for your student(s).

 

Step 4 – Interview

The Admissions Office will call or email you to set up an interview with the administration. Parents, guardians, and 6th – 12th grade students are required to attend.

 

Step 5 – Acceptance

After the interview, an email will be sent to you regarding your acceptance status.

 

Admissions Status Tracking

After your Online Application has been submitted, you may log back into the system at any time to:

  • --Print your submitted application for your records.
  • --Monitor the status of your admissions process, including when all your forms have been submitted from you, the church, principal or counselor, and previous teachers and schools.
  • --Reprint any supplemental forms.
